In pursuance of Presidential Decree "On measures on further strengthening the social support of veterans of war and labor front of 1941-1945", and in the framework of the state program "Year of attention and care for the older generation", since the beginning of March of this year, war and labor veterans were able to enjoy rehabilitation courses in sanatoriums.
In particular, the sanatorium "Tavaksai" from the beginning of March received more than 120 veterans, the information service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan said.
Compartments and rooms are equipped with necessary auxiliary accessories, as well a special menu developed with regard to the age of veterans.
Between treatments, vacationers have the opportunity to walk and enjoy some fresh air, play board games or watch TV.
One of the favorite places of veterans has become a gazebo with national chairs, where over a cup of fragrant tea older people can discuss the latest news.
Veterans are very satisfied with the organization of rest and treatment. Words of gratitude for care sound from the mouth of each elderly person.
