A delegation of Italian Breeders Association (AIA) paid a visit to Uzbekistan on 27-29 January 2015, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
The delegation included head of International Office of AIA Alessandra Narciso and technical director Riccardo Negrini.
The delegation held negotiations with the Uzbek farmers and presented information on developing husbandry, productivity, conducting scientific researches, etc.
The Italian delegation held negotiations with interested companies and farms, within which the sides considered opportunities of cooperation in husbandry and production of meat and milk products.
The Italian Breeders Association (AIA) was founded in Rome on 20 August 1944 with the aim of reviving the national livestock sector devastated by World War II. It has been recognized as an entity of public-interest by Presidential Decree n. 1051 on 27 October 1950.
Through the years, AIA has rapidly grown its initial structure and has branched nationwide across the Italian territory, supporting each livestock sector and developing a wide range of supportive services to farmers, which have contributed to enhance the Italian animal husbandry and to make it one the most advanced world-wide.
