On 29 January, at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan (MFERIT) was held a meeting with the Canadian delegation, headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Canada to Uzbekistan (with residence in Moscow) John Ronald Kur.

During the meeting, the current state and prospects of further expansion of mutually beneficial trade-economic, investment and financial cooperation between the two countries were considered.

The exchange of visits of business delegations, as well as opportunities to participate in exhibitions and fairs that are going to be held in Uzbekistan and Canada were discussed.
